Some of the latest reviews from our lovely guests

Such a lovely welcome, warm, clean and comfortable. Great host, who made our stay a happy one. Breakfast was simple but great quality.

Linda - November 2024

Great location for day tripping to the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford upon Avon. Large comfy bed and spacious bathroom with convenient breakfast area. Thank you Sara for your wonderful hospitality :)

Graham - October 2024

Sara was a lovely host, she made us feel very welcome. On arrival she greeted us and showed us to our room which was spacious and our bed was sooo comfy. You have everything you need in the bedroom including tea/coffee facilities with cookies, hair dryer and great wardrobe space with hangers. There was also a book telling us where was good to go near by. Sara was very thoughtful and left us a little hand made clay keep sake with ‘Puck’s retreat’ on it. I just love little personal touches like this. The bathroom had a great walk in shower which was so powerful. Better than our one at home. The retreat itself is located on 15 acres with lovely fruit trees which we were allowed to pick from. And the apples tasted unreal! The location itself was good as it was central to most things we wanted to go and see. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, tea, coffee and toast with scrambled egg. The scrambled egg was amazing, all organic and from her chickens on her land. A must have if you are coming to visit. Sara has a Labrador and he is just the cutest thing, always so happy to see you and very affectionate. We love dogs so it was lovely to see him everyday. All in all we had a great time here and would definitely come back again. Thank you for having us.

Sara is the perfect host, made a lovely breakfast and gave us some very helpful suggestions. We will certainly be back!

Fab little b&b, perfect for our night away in the Cotswolds after visiting the local Distillery for a Gin & Whisky tasting. Sara couldn’t have been more welcoming, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble ☺️ bedroom, private bathroom & dining area all clean and beautifully presented. Freshly made breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast went down a treat before leaving - Thank you! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again & would definitely recommend to all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were away for a few days to visit the local Cotswold distillery and lucky enough to find this little gem of a place. Very comfortable room and a lovely host who cooked us fresh eggs for breakfast and guided us to local eateries.

Steve - August 2024

Shower was fabulous! Sara was very helpful. Its a private annex with plenty of space, and secure car parking. We even got to take some apples and plums from Saras amazing orchard

Tim - August 2024

Sara is a pleasant and welcoming host and the accommodation is well presented. Once inside it's all on one level which suited us. The outdoor seating area was welcome on a warm evening, with a very pleasing view. The electric gate works well and the entrance was well lit at night.

Helen - August 2024

Puck's retreat had everything we needed. It was comfortable and away from the main road. The owner was very friendly and tols us everything we neede to know. Breakfast was good.

John - July 2024

The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. Having your own “front door” access was also great. The location was ideal for visiting the many attractions in the area. What really made it was how lovely the host Sara was, friendly and attentive without encroaching on your time or space!

Hazel - July 2024

The location of the accommodation between two villages is extremely convenient. The furnishings of the room very tasteful. We particularly liked the extremely comfortable bed. But the rest is right to the smallest detail. The unit has a separate bathroom and a small entrance hall with a table and chairs. Here you can have breakfast privately and undisturbed etc. Also belonging to the accommodation is a small veranda with seating areas. This B+B is definitely a good place to stay for several days. Superfluous to mention that the hostess is extremely binding and helpful.

Harald - July 2024

We really enjoyed the location. The scenery and views were gorgeous. The hosts were polite and friendly and informative. Lots of information about the local area and things to see/do were in a handy book in our room. And we loved meeting the goats and learning about them! The breakfast provided using the eggs from the chickens on site was such a lovely touch.

Chris - June 2024

Excellent breakfast. Sara was very welcoming and friendly. A pleasant rural location. The nearby village of Tredington was lovely with a fine pub, the Lion. Good food and beer!

Richard - June 2024

The room was spacious and comfortable. Big bathroom and nice shower. Sara is an exceptional host and she gave us some details of the area and all that she does on the property tending to the goats and chickens. Ollie and Brodie added some additional love and ambience to the place. Hearty breakfast was served.

Teresa - June 2024

The breakfast was simple cereals, toast eggs (fresh from the chickens on site) tea or coffee. This was plenty to set you off for the day. Shipston on stour was just down the road with takeaways, pub and shops. The location is in easy reach of the Cotswold. The accommodation was like having your own apartment, the outside decking area was lovely and very relaxing. We stayed on route to Southampton for a cruise and also stayed here on our return to break the journey up. Sara was lovely and was always on hand for anything we might need.

Everything was perfect. Nice and quiet and very comfortable.

Marian - May 2024

I enjoyed the breakfast. I thought the eggs were exceptional. Sara was a very pleasant and friendly host. Bed was comfortable. Shower was better than at home and my wife was singing its praises.

Michael - March 2024

Lovely comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Hosts were very welcoming. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. Unfortunately we didn't have the weather to use the patio area, but I should imagine it would be very pleaseant sitting there in the sun with the countryside around you. A pleasant stay!

Fabulous accommodation in a beautiful location. We were met by Sara who greeted us, showed us around and her attention to detail was exceptional. Breakfast was amazing with delicious scrambled eggs from her rescued chickens. We would very highly recommend and will return when back in the area.

Julia - December 2023

It was more than just a room for the night, the accomodation was perfect, very clean, spacious and beautifully presented. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen, lots of hanging/storage space. We slept extremely well, it was so quiet. Breakfast was lovely, my scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. The bathroom/shower was spotlessly clean, plenty of space and the towels provided were soft and smelt beautiful. Sara was very friendly, welcoming and provided good knowledge of the area.

Dawson - December 2023

Sara was a lovely host and very accommodating. Even though it’s their house you wouldn’t know it as it’s separate accommodation and very private. The facilities were super and the bed very comfortable will definitely be going back soon

Adam - December 2023

Absolute gem. We were attending a wedding nearby and Sara let us get the key before and gave us an overview of the room. Exceptional clean and comfortable. The scrambled eggs from the resident hens for breakfast were fantastic. Very highly recommended.

Rob - November 2023

Sara is an amazing host, so helpful and kind. Sara provided so much information about what was in the surrounding area, the information was both located in our room and on her website. The room, especially the bed was comfortable and cosy! The breakfast filled us for the day. We will definitely be returning as theres so much more we would like to experience in this area particularly the walks and the National trust locations. Thank you to Sara for an amazing stay!

Rooms: Comfortable and cosy. Also very clean, Sara replenished our tea making facilities which was good. 😄

Food & drinks: Bed and breakfast, we enjoyed cereal, toast and a pot of tea. Sara would check what time we would like breakfast the night before and was prompt in serving.

Stacy - November 2023

It was a beautiful location. Exceptionally clean, the bed was so comfortable.. The owner was so kind and welcoming we asked her to adopt us! Can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to enjoy the decking. The information in the room was full of places to go,food places to try and walks to go on it was amazing. The breakfast was great and the fresh eggs were amazing. As you have probably guessed cannot recommend this venue enough. Thank you Sara and Brodie see you again soon.

This is a beautiful well kept Cotswold farm. Everything is very modern and very clean. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation, this is the one!!

Everything about the place is excellent. Location, welcome, information provided, great service and superb value. Sitting on the terrace with a beer in the sun is a must…. This is a real find and an imminent return is being planned. Thanks Sara

Perfect for our one night stay on our way home. Sara was very flexible when we had problems arriving and so friendly. The place was just as described and very clean. Comfortable bed and lovely shower. Thank you for the great breakfast and apples they are lovely.

David - September 2023

Sara, the owner was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very comfy bed. Fresh eggs in the morning were delicious (we bought some to take home - loved knowing they are free range, ex battery hens that are now well cared for in a loving home). Also, nice to see some of the animals on the rescue farm - lovely country B&B with everything you need and local to some lovely restaurants, pubs and places of interest.

Hayley - September 2023

The breakfast was simple but good. The room was lovely and the host very nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay, wish it had been a bit longer.

Jayne -  September 2023

The location was straightforward to reach, yet definitely surrounded by appealing countryside. The room was beautifully fitted out, as was the bathroom. This accommodation has its own access and apart from seeing the host at breakfast, we were left to ourselves. It also has an outside deck with a table and setees, and in the recent warm weather, it was ideal. Sara was an excellent host and was able to provide us with lots of information regarding the locality and options for us to consider.

Brian -  September 2023

Not enough words, immaculate and Sara was something else, lovely, helpful and good fun. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was great, well well worth a visit.

Lucy - September 2023

We loved it. Sara is a really great host. Very helpful and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was excellent. My husband said it was the best scrambled eggs he has ever had. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful location. The private patio area is lovely, with lovely views. We were going to Warwick Castle, the commute was easy. Lots to see and do in the area.

Everything was perfect and the location was wonderful. It is a lovely setting and Sara the host was very friendly and helpful.

Craig - August 2023

A spacious bathroom and bedroom plus dining area. Also an outside terrace for exclusive use. Own entrance. Everything has been lovingly decorated and furnished. There is even a mini fridge with cold milk and to keep your own drinks cold. Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast is continental plus their own eggs. It's a farm with rare breed goats, a few sheep and rescued chickens.

Ursula - August 2023

Sara was a lovely host who made us feel like we were in our own home. The animals on the farm, pretty flowers and clean room felt like a little paradise in the Cotswolds. Thanks Sara for letting us stay at your place.
