How to get to Puck’s Retreat B&B

Car is the best way to explore the local area. There are however nearby rail stations in both Stratford-upon-Avon (for Birmingham) and Moreton-in-Marsh (for London) that are only about 9 miles away. There are also public bus routes through Tredington and Shipston-on-Stour. You can walk the 1.5 miles into Shipston-on-Stour along a roadside footpath and Tredington is only a 10 minute walk from us.
Driving
From the M40 North
Leave the M40 at junction 15 (Warwick) and take the A429, headed towards Stow-on-the-Wold. After approximately 12 miles you will reach the village of Halford. Continue through Halford and when you reach the next roundabout, with a Subaru dealership, take the first left and drive through Tredington. As you come out of Tredington you will see some large sheds on your right-hand side. Just after these, and with white rocks lining the entrance, you will find Puck Pitts Farm on your right-hand side. Turn in the gate and head up the drive to the house. Please park on the left.
If you get to Shipston-on-Stour you have gone too far.
From the M40 South
Leave the M40 at junction 8 and head towards Oxford. Go round the Oxford ring road, heading for Cheltenham on the A40. This can be very busy at peak rush hour times. Once on the ring road, go straight over the first roundabout and at the next take the right-hand exit, heading towards the A34 north. At the next roundabout, do not take the A34 exit but go under the A34 and take the next exit. Go left at the next roundabout and continue towards Woodstock on the A44, signed for Evesham.
Go through Woodstock continuing on the A44 and approximately 10 miles later you will reach some traffic lights outside Chipping Norton. Do not take the left-hand turn into Chipping Norton but go straight ahead, joining the A3400 headed for Stratford-upon-Avon. Go over the next roundabout and continue on the A3400 to Shipston-on-Stour. When you get to Shipston, you will meet a one way system. You need to follow the signs for A3400 Stratford-upon-Avon (the road takes a sharp right then left turn around the one-way system) and continue towards Tredington on the A3400 Stratford Road.
A short distance after you have left Shipston you will see a turning to Honington on your right, which you ignore. Keep going on the A3400 for another short distance, you will go down a hill, and Puck Pitts Farm is on your left with white rocks lining the entrance to help you find us. Turn in the gate and head up the drive to the house. Please park on the left.
If you see some large sheds on your left and then go into the village of Tredington you have gone too far.
